I enjoy playing with cameras and drones. When making the video for this Jeep Renegade, I flew my drone into a tree. I'd assumed that my drone's object avoidance was turned on. I was wrong.
Fortunately, I was able to retrieve my drone without any issues, and it was not damaged in any way. I was lucky.
I was also lucky to take this Jeep out for the day. It's simply fun to drive. While not nearly as off-road capable as its sibling, that Jeep Wrangler, it's much more enjoyable when behind the wheel.
The turning radius is great. And, well, it's a Jeep. With that comes nostalgia.
The 2018 Jeep Renegade is in the subcompact sport utility vehicle category. It is rated at 24 mpg city and 31 mpg highway. Towing capacity is only 2,000 lbs, but that isn't an issue for those who buy this truck to use it for what it was intended.…
The drive along Highway 70 from Oroville, California to Quincy, California encompasses some of the most beautiful scenery I've ever seen. To do so in a Dodge Ram Rebel is amazing. This truck is in direct competition with Ford's Raptor, and Raptor is legit competition for Jeep Wranglers when it comes to off - road capability.
The Rebel isn't a gas sipper. It's rated as follows (but I didn't observe these types of fuel economy numbers):
Towing capacity: 6,460 to 7,520 lbsHorsepower: 395 hpMPG: Up to 20 city / 25 highway
Notice that part where it says "up to 20 city and 25 highway"? I'm of the opinion that's purposeful. The computer showed less than 20mpg on the highway. But, hey, when you can afford to drive a Rebel, you can afford to put gas in it. Just buy some stock in Chevron and you'll be alright.
The engine in this truck roars. I was pulled over by a CHP officer because I let m…
I have the privilege of doing something I love for a living: driving cars around, taking photos of them, and posting those photos online for others to see.
Today I was provided with the keys to this awesome piece of machinery: a 2013 Ford F-350 Crew Cab equipped with a 6.7L Powerstroke Diesel.

NOTE: The author is a single male in his mid-40s, and daydreams about living full time in a Prevost Coach, with a tow vehicle pulled behind. That leads to this article about a vehicle many refer to as the perfect tow vehicle. Here is my Jeep Wrangler Review, followed further down the page with instructions on how to properly flat-tow a Jeep Wrangler. I’ve also provided a PDF version of the 2017 Jeep Wrangler Owner’s Manual at the end of this article.Don C. 2017 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Sport, provided for this review by West Mitsubishi
Jeep Wranglers appeal to me. From everything I’ve read, the Wrangler is the best off-road mass produced vehicle available to consumers. Some might argue that the Ford Raptor is just as capable but, as I have yet to test drive a Raptor, I can’t address that assertion.
As often as I’ve envisioned travelling the highways in a non-slide Prevost Coach, I’ve envisioned a four wheel drive being towed behind. The J…
